Farmers are angry with Anheuser-Busch's Bud Light TV commercial from this year's Super Bowl that slams its rivals — and along with it, corn — saying it took a cheap shot at an important U.S. crop.
The Des Moines Register reports that Bud Light's Super Bowl ad takes a swipe at Miller Lite and Coors Light, questioning the beers' use of corn syrup.
"They decided to use a very expensive Super Bowl ad to attack corn farming and corn syrup," Kevin Skunes, chairman of the National Corn Growers Association, told the Register.
