LaMars Daily Sentinel’s Kim Fickett checked in on Central Valley Ag in a report about their rebuilding after an explosion made two bins unusable last spring.
The work began last fall, and the facility plans on building three new concrete storage bins with a combined storage capacity of 669,000 bushels. During construction, the facility scheduled more trains to avoid running out of storage space from the incoming harvest.
The company will also build a receiving station with a 20,000 bushels/hour capacity and a new automation system that will be retrofitted to the entire facility.
