As we look at grain markets in 2019, there appear to be some positive factors that could mean good news for grain producers, reports KBTX.
“One of the most significant factors that we have is an underlying tone of very solid and strong demand," Mark Welch a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension grain marketing specialist told KBTX. "If you look at world per capita grain consumption, we’ve been on a strong upward trend of that particular measure of grain use and grain consumption since the early two thousands.”
Converting more grain to fuel and expanding middle classes in many parts of the world have fueld that demand.
