Chinese importers have canceled $40 million in U.S. corn shipments in the last month according to a story by Farms.com's Diego Flammini. The traders are turning to the Ukraine, where farmers are not permitted to grow Genetically Modified Corn. The reason is that getting a GMO processing permit is very difficult in China, while there is no required permit to process Non-GMO crops.
