GROWMARK announced today its intent to acquire AgraForm, LLC, a leading agrichemical manufacturing company based in St. Louis, Missouri. The deal, expected to close at the end of June, has undisclosed terms.

AgraForm specializes in bulk formulation, agrichemical processing, spray drying, milling, packaging, and storage services for chemical manufacturers. The company produces and packages insecticides, fungicides, and biological products for agricultural use.

Wade Mittelstadt, GROWMARK's Chief Operating Officer, stated that the acquisition aligns with GROWMARK’s strategic goals. “This purchase enables us to grow efficiently in these product lines while providing the opportunity to produce proprietary product offerings in the future. We can also strengthen our relationships with key suppliers who currently utilize AgraForm’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities,” said Mittelstadt. He praised AgraForm’s talented team and strong commitments to safety, environmental responsibility, and customer service.

AgraForm operates two properties in St. Louis, one for manufacturing and one for dry storage. The acquisition allows GROWMARK to meet growing demand for fungicides, insecticides, biologicals, and generic products, further influencing the agricultural value chain and expanding its market share.

Ron Cunningham, President of AgraForm, expressed excitement about the partnership with GROWMARK, emphasizing the potential for long-term value and growth for both AgraForm's and GROWMARK's clients, as well as FS Cooperatives.

GROWMARK is an agricultural cooperative serving nearly 400,000 customers across North America. It provides agronomy, energy, facility engineering and construction, logistics products and services, grain marketing, and risk management services. Headquartered in Bloomington, Illinois, GROWMARK owns the FS trademark, which is used by member cooperatives.
