OPI, the global leader in grain storage management, is pleased to announce the addition of seasoned ag business innovator Daniel Portela as vice president of product.

As Vice President of Product, Portela spearheads expansion initiatives into novel product lines and oversees the development and successful launch of new iterations in the current product portfolio. He also serves on the executive team.
A proven global agribusiness and ag tech leader, Portela is a native of Brazil with experience across multiple business, agriculture and technology segments. His career includes time in product management, supply chain management and product strategy with TELUS Agriculture, United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative Limited and Ranbaxy.
“I’m passionate about supporting farmers and their businesses,” he says.
Portela studied Business Administration and International Commerce at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, São Paulo, Brazil.
