An unidentified employee of East Central Iowa Co-op was confirmed dead after being caught in a bin of soybeans, according to reports by The Courier's Jeff Reinitz. Crews arrived at the grain elevator in Waterloo, IA, at 11:30 a.m. and cut holes to drain the bin while emergency responders attempted to rescue the entrapment victim. The body was later discovered and pronounced dead by authorities.
