Multiple agencies responded to a grain bin in West Burlington, IA, after reports of a man needing to be rescued, reports KWQC.
Firefighters arrived to find the man up to his armpits in a grain bin that was about two-thirds full.
The man had been working to move the grain out of the bin when the top crust gave way sending him down into the grain.
Firefighters used a grain tube to stabilize him inside the bin.
After grain was removed from the bin, the man was able to walk to a waiting ambulance. He was then transported for evaluation.
