Employees of Archer Daniels Midland Co. and 28 Decatur firefighters worked together for a little over six hours last Thursday to put out a fire at the company's corn facility in Decatur, IL, according to a statement the Decatur Fire Department released Friday morning.
The Herald & Review reports the fire caused minimal damage to plant equipment, and no injuries were reported. The origin of the fire was a dryer and the cause was listed as "hot work."
