LinkOne Ingredient Solutions, a U.S.-based food and pet food ingredient supplier, and Agrocorp International, a Singapore-based agricultural commodities multinational, announce their joint venture, AgroLink, LLC.

AgroLink will commence operations at a newly acquired grain elevator and state-of-the-art food grade pulse processing plant located in Cut Bank, MT. The facility was previously owned by Pardue Grain, with the pulse processing line recently built and commissioned in 2019 with full stack cleaning, grading, and bagging capabilities.

The facility comprises over 400,000 bushels of storage capacity, a 10-railcar siding on the BNSF main line, and has an annual handling capacity in excess of 1.5 million bushels as well as SQF Level 2 and Organic certifications.

AgroLink will use LinkOne’s extensive relationships with many of the key U.S. food and pet food manufacturers and Agrocorp’s global supply chains to find the best markets for peas, chickpeas, and lentils that are grown by farmers in Glacier County and surrounding areas.

The facility’s location and service capabilities make it the perfect option for local farmers to connect their products with food manufacturers in domestic and global markets. AgroLink’s focus on pulses is timely, given the recent growth of plant-based proteins in both the human and pet food markets as a sustainable and nutritious alternative to animal proteins.

“This partnership allows us to expand our current base of operations in pet food ingredients and provides a great foundation to increase our efforts in our emerging food ingredient business," says Brad Riley, chief strategy officer with LinkOne.

Vishal Vijay, director of Strategic Investments says at Agrocorp International is also excited about the opportunities this partnership can bring, including entering the U.S. market.

"The facility in Cut Bank presents the perfect launching pad for AgroLink to become a leader in the U.S. pulses market," he says.
