Brian Wang joins USGC in Beijing as livestock sector adviser

Wang will enhance U.S. market share for feed grains in China through strategic planning and industry engagement.

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) has welcomed Brian Wang as the new livestock sector advisor in its Beijing office. In his new role, Wang will focus on strategic planning and industry engagement to enhance the U.S. market share for feed grains in China.

“Brian has built an excellent reputation in the food industry and I’m confident he will use that experience to hit the ground running for the Council,” said Manuel Sanchez, USGC director in China. “I’m excited to expand programming focused on increasing livestock yields in China by promoting the significant health benefits of incorporating U.S. products into animal diets.”

Wang brings a wealth of experience to the position, with a professional background that includes three years in logistics, seven years in the potato sector, and 18 years in the popcorn industry. His expertise spans managing sales, marketing, team building, and developing distributor networks in China.

Wang is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration at the University of South Carolina. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of International Business and Economics and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology.
