Harvest on Schedule Say Nebraska Grain Elevators

Despite challenges, soybeans and corn are beginning to pile up at several elevators across state

As farmers in Nebraska hope to wrap up one of the most devastating harvest seasons they've faced in a long time, their harvested soybeans and corn are beginning to pile up at several elevators across the state, reports NTV.

From a late planting season to countless floods, you'd think with the many delays farmers have faced this season that the grain bins would also be behind, but according to Cenex and Harvest State Holdrege they're actually on schedule.

"You know basically it's harvest time in America," Nick Erdman, who works with CHS Holdrege, told NTV.
