Eric Snodgrass to deliver keynote at Wisconsin Corn·Soy Expo 2025

Snodgrass, an expert in weather risk management, will offer strategies for growers to optimize yields amid unpredictable weather.

Eric Snodgrass, Senior Science Fellow and principal atmospheric scientist at Nutrien Ag Solutions, will deliver the keynote address at the Wisconsin Corn·Soy Expo, taking place February 6-7, 2025, at the Kalahari Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells. Snodgrass, known for his expertise in weather risk management for agriculture, will discuss strategies for growers to better prepare for unpredictable weather patterns and optimize yields.

“We’re so excited to have Eric join us for the Wisconsin Corn·Soy Expo,” said Sara Stelter, president of the Wisconsin Soybean Association (WSA). “His insights will add tremendous value to an event that consistently brings together leaders, producers, and growers from across the country.”

Snodgrass specializes in using machine learning to predict weather-related impacts on crop yields and develop long-range weather forecasts. His keynote will be one of the many educational sessions at the expo, which offers a comprehensive experience for attendees, including opportunities to network with more than 120 companies.
