FEED & GRAIN magazine is pleased to announce the launch of its Excellence in Innovation recognition program for 2008. Each issue we will look at the people and products who keep the industry moving and the needs of its customer’s met.

Here’s how it works. If you have experience with an innovative or unique product or service that has demonstrated measurable value to you or your customers, you may nominate them for consideration. In each issue leading up to the GEAPS Exchange 2009, we will feature several of the entries in our Excellence in Innovation section.

  • 100 Word limit on the Reason for the nomination

Innovation in Production and Material Handling:
Covers innovative products which aid in the movement of grain and finished feed products through entire production and distribution processes.

Innovation in Energy Efficiency:
Products and services which allow user to realize savings in fuel usage and costs. It would also include technologies which allow user to reuse steam, waste heat or other by-products of the manufacturing process to conserve energy.

Innovation in Design:
Recognizes a new construction or remodel/renovation project which uses an innovative approach to maximizing space, resources and new technologies to capture optimum value on time and under budget.
